Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano played a game of “Never Have I Ever” in Jessy’s newest vlog uploaded on August 12.The real-life couple got honest with each other about the time that Luis chose a girl over a friend.
Luis said, “Hindi ko pwede sabihin yung pangalan, pero ang best friend ko, obviously, si Anne Curtis.”
The 40-year-old said that Anne did not approve of the girl he was dating at the time.
Luis shared that Anne said, “Manzano. As long as dine-date mo ‘yon, hindi tayo mag-uusap.”
“So may time na kami ni Anne ay hindi kami nag-uusap dahil hindi namin gusto yung dine-date namin, respectively,” Luis said.
Sharing her thoughts on the matter, Jessy said, “Eto naman kasi sa inyo. Hindi naman siya na parang kababawan lang. But you were also looking out for your friend and Anne was doing the same too.”

In an emotional vlog, Jessy set the record straight about the whole engagement ring issue.
Meanwhile, Jessy revealed that she has also gone through a similar experience. She said, “I also have friends before na ayaw kay Luis and puro pamba-bash ang ginagawa nila sa akin. Siyempre, na-hurt ako kasi nung time na ‘yon, Luis is a good guy, why would you not want him for me?”
Jessy added, “So ang ending, iniwan nila ako, binash nila ako. After a few months, nag-sorry sila sa akin but you know it’s never the same.”

According to a report, Luis and Anne knew each other even before starting in showbiz. The actor was even Anne’s “Man of Honor” when she got married to Erwan Heussaff in 2017. In a birthday greeting that Anne posted for Luis in 2018, the actress wrote, “To the man that cried just as much as my dad, my brother AND my husband at my wedding, my best friend, @luckymanzano HAPPY BIRTHDAY!”
Jessy and Luis also touched on subjects such as cheating in a relationship, one-night stands, keeping gifts from exes, and more.
